AmVets Post 23 recently honored officers of the year from local departments in a ceremony at Doc’s Country Store in Opp.
These officers included Dewayne Ham, Covington County Sheriff’s Department; Jackie Woods, Andalusia Police Department; Greg McGraw, Florala Police Department; and Ian McCullough, Opp Police Department.
