Red Level High School Valedictorian Dalton Myers said that he has always been inspired by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

“I have always liked Mark Zuckerberg because he created something that changed the world in his college dorm room,” Myers said. “So that lets me think anything is possible through hard work.”

His parents also motivated him to become valedictorian.

“They have always motived me,” Myers said. “They motivate me to strive and do the best at anything I choose to do.”

Myers said that he and salutatorian Jacob Catrett have always been competed, through middle school and high school.

At RLHS, Myers is involved in Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta and Future Farmers of America.

Outside of the classroom, Myers enjoys playing basketball and archery.

Myers plans to attend LBW Community College for two years and then transfer to Troy University to earn a degree in accounting.

He is the son of Adele and Russell Myers and his grandparents are Ellen Johnson, Lester Myers and Peter and Margaret Hemkes.
