The 24th Annual Alligator Trot 5K Road Race and Walk will be held on June 22 in Florala.

The Alligator Trot is the only 5,000 meter run in two states in conjunction with the 24th of June Masonic Celebration. It’s also the longest running consecutive annual Masonic Celebration.

This year’s race will be Sat., Jan 22 beginning at 8 a.m., and ending on Lake Jackson in Florala.

The run begins at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street. Runners proceed around Lake Jackson into Florida and back in Alabama finishing at 916 Lake Drive.

Pre register by June 9 to guarantee a race T-shirt.

Registration is $25 for the 5K run or walk.
