TENSIE BUTLER BEAM

Graveside Services for Mrs. Tensie Butler Beam, 94, who entered into rest July 8, 2019, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m., in the Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rose Hill, Ala. Dr. Joe Beam officiating.
Mrs. Beam was a native of Dozier, a former resident of Beech Island, S.C., having made North Augusta her home. She was a member of the North Augusta Church of Christ, retired from J.C. Penney and was the wife of the late Mr. John R. Beam.
Survivors include her three sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Patsy Beam, North Augusta, Joe and Alice Beam, Franklin, Tenn., and Greg and Ellen Beam, Edgefield, S.C.; a daughter, Joan Beam, North Augusta; seven grandchildren, Angela Beam, Ruthie McGhee, Jennifer Howie, Joanna Wilson, Matthew Schlachter, Susan Waskavitz and Kimberly Holmes; eleven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5 p.m., until 7 p.m.

SUSAN SPIRES HARTLEY

Mrs. Susan Spires Hartley, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., July 6, 2019, at her residence. She was 68.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wed., July 10, 2019, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens; with Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Andalusia directing. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m., Tue., July 9, 2019, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kendall (Aimee Sowell) Baggett of Andalusia; Klint (Stacy) Baggett of Jasper, Ala.; Kristin (Rik) Long of Andalusia; grandchildren, Austin Baggett, Ethan Baggett, Eva Baggett, John Logan Long, and Parker Long.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Stephens Hartley, and an infant son.

 

GERALDINE B. GRANTHAM

Mrs. Geraldine B. Grantham, age 93, of Andalusia, passed away on Thu., July 4, 2019, at her residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Grantham will be held on Sat., July 6, 2019, at 2 p.m., from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Miller officiating the service, interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Elaine and Marion Johnson and Shelia Peek; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sandra Grantham; grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) Grantham, Chuck (Kim) Grantham, Kevin Peek, Scotty (Sally) Peek, and Tara (RD) Lloyd; great grandchildren, Brennan Peek, Elsie Peek, Carley McWilliams, Garrett Higgie, Grant Lloyd, Melanie (Avery) Colquett, Nicole (Johnny) Andrews, Parker (Tami) Lloyd, Sean (Lydia) Grantham, Sophie Peek; great-great grandchildren, Aurora Grantham, Ellie Andrews, Peyton Andrews; sister, Annette Roller; and brothers, Jerry Brooks, Pete Brooks, and Rex Brooks.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Grantham, and parents, Willie and Ruth Brooks.

Pallbearers will be Chris Grantham, Chuck Grantham, Kevin Peek, Grant Lloyd, Parker Lloyd, and Avery Colquett.
