Andalusia BOE OKs personnel decisions

The Andalusia City Schools Board of Education made several personnel decisions Tuesday night.

The board:

  • Approved the retirement of Gloria Adams, who has worked as the bookkeeper at Andalusia High School for 40 years.

Transferred:

  • Becky Garner to the high school as 10th grade English teacher.
  • Sara Mixson to the junior high as 8th grade English teacher.
  • Traneshia Stoudemire Birch as the math coach at Andalusia Elementary.

Hired:

  • Sarah Atkinson as the 9-12 business education teacher.
  • Josh Johnson as a band paraprofessional.
  • Amber O’Neal as the 7th grade science teacher.
