PLAYING WITH STATE’S BEST: Kilpatrick shines in North/South golf tournament

Andalusia rising senior Adam Kilpatrick had a strong showing in Thursday’s AHSAA North/South All-Star Golf tournament in Montgomery.

Kilpatrick was teamed up with Charles Henderson’s Griff McCrary.

The South All-Stars finished with 50.5 points, but the North came away with the win with a score of 63.5.

Kilpatrick and McCrary were the highest scoring pair for the South as the finished with 13 points.

Kilpartick and McCrary were one of two South teams to win their match.

The pair beat Andrew Miller of White Plains and Josh Carter of Huntsville 13-6 to earn the South’s Most Points Scored award.
