Lady Bobcats look for another playoff run

The Opp Lady Bobcats are looking for another good year as they prepare for the start of the 2019 volleyball season.

Opp will open up the season on Aug. 24 when they go to Kinston for the Amelia Rhoades Set-Off Tournament. The tournament begins at 8:30 a.m.

Opp travels to Brantley on Aug. 29 for a match with the Lady Bulldogs beginning at 6 p.m.

The Lady Bobcats’ home opener is set for Sept. 3 at 6 p.m., when the Kinston Lady Bulldogs come to Opp.

On Sept. 5, the Lady Bobcats will host the Pleasant Home Lady Eagles beginning at 6 p.m.

Opp remains at home on Sept. 10, with a match with the Enterprise Lady Wildcats at 5:30 p.m.

The Lady Bobcats open up Class 3A, Area 4 play with a home match against the Straughn Lady Tigers on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m.

Houston Academy comes to Opp on Sept. 16 for a match beginning at 6 p.m.

Rivalry action heats up when the Andalusia Lady Bulldogs come to Opp on Sept. 17 for a match beginning at 6 p.m.

The Lady Bobcats get back into area play when they go up against the Pike County Lady Bulldogs on Sept. 19 at 5 p.m., in Brundidge.

Opp comes back home on Sept. 24 when they take on the Brantley Lady Bulldogs at 6 p.m.

On Sept. 26, the Lady Bobcats travel to Kinston to battle with the Lady Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m.

Opp wraps up area play on Oct. 3 when they take on the Straughn Lady Tigers at 4 p.m., in Straughn.

The Lady Bobcats hit the road to Dothan on Oct. 7 with a match against Houston Academy at 3:30 p.m.

Also on Oct. 7, the Lady Bobcats will play Geneva at 4:30 p.m.

Opp travels to Red Level on Oct. 8 for a match with the Lady Tigers at 6 p.m.

On Oct. 14, the Lady Bobcats play a tri-match against the Andalusia Lady Bulldogs at 2 p.m., and then Goshen at 3 p.m., at Andalusia High School.

The Lady Bobcats wrap up the regular season with a road trip to take on Zion Chapel on Oct. 15 at 4 p.m.
