READY TO GET SEASON GOING: Florala looks to make another playoff run

The Florala Lady Wildcats look to get back into the playoffs as they prepare for the 2019 high school volleyball season.

Florala begins the season with a road trip to Brantley to face the Lady Bulldogs.

The Lady Wildcats and Lady Bulldogs will square off on Aug. 27 at 4 p.m.

Florala and Brantley will face off again on Sept. 17 at 4 p.m., but this match will be in Florala.

They Lady Wildcats enter area play on Sept. 19 when they make a trip to McKenzie to battle with the Lady Tigers. That match will begin at 5 p.m.

Florala will be back on the road on Sept. 25 when they travel to Red Level for an area match with the Lady Tigers. That match will be played at 3 p.m.

On Sept. 26, the McKenzie Lady Tigers make the trip to Florala for an area battle with the Lady Wildcats at 5 p.m.

The Lady Wildcats will take a break from area play when they travel for a non-conference battle with Samson. That match will be held at 5 p.m., on Sept. 30.

Florala gets back into area play on Oct. 3 when the Pleasant Home Lady Eagles come to town for a match at 5 p.m.

Pleasant Home won the area last year and then went on to win the Class 1A state championship.

Florala finished second in the area

The Lady Wildcats will play their final non-conference game of the season on Oct. 7 when Samson comes to town for a match set for 6 p.m.

On Oct. 9, the Lady Wildcats will host their final regular-season match when the Red Level Lady Tigers come to Florala for a an area battle. That match is set for 1 p.m.

The Lady Wildcats close out the regular season on the road with a quick trip to Pleasant Home for an area match with the Lady Eagles. That match is set for 5 p.m.
