Young Tigers ready to shine on gridiron

The Red Level Tigers Youth Football League is eager to get the 2019 season started.

Fans will have chance to meet the Red Level Tiger youth football team on Friday night at Meet the Tigers.

Meet the Tigers will be held at 7 p.m., at the Red Level High School stadium.

If it’s raining on Friday night, the event will be held in the Red Level High School gym.

Red Level will begin the season on Aug. 24 when they play in the Pleasant Home Youth Football League Jamboree.

The jamboree will begin at 9 a.m., at Pleasant Home School.

All regular season games, begin at 5:30 p.m.

The regular season begins on Aug. 31 when Red Level makes a short trip up Hwy. 55 to take on the McKenzie Tigers.

Red Level gets a bye in the second week of the season, which falls on Sept. 7.

The Tigers get back in action on Sept. 14 with a road trip to take on Kinston Bulldogs.

On Sept. 21, Red Level will hold their home opener when they take on the Brantley Bulldogs.

The Tigers go back on the road on Sept. 28 with a match against Samson.

Red Level returns home on Oct. 5 for a battle with the Luverne Tigers.

The Tigers take a road trip on Oct. 12 when they take on the Florala Wildcats.

Red Level will host the Highland Home Flying Squadron on Oct. 19 in Red Level.

Red Level wraps up the regular season on Oct. 26 at home against the Pleasant Home Eagles.

Red Level will host the first round of the South Central Youth Football League on Nov. 2.

The second round of the playoffs will be on Nov. 9 in Brantley.

The third round of the playoffs will be held in McKenzie on Nov. 16.

The Super Bowl and Cheer competition will be Nov. 23 in Florala.
