This next week marks 4 years since I was a part of a very memorable event – traveling with a group of local WWII veterans
to Eglin Air Force Base to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII. About 20 veterans traveled with us,
along with escorts. Many others were unable to travel with us so we decided to produce a video with interviews of both groups.
Robert Evers was the videographer and he spent many hours getting these heroes thoughts recorded. From about 3 hours
of interviews, Robert produced a 30 minute HD DVD that was memorable as well as timely. Many of those interviewed
are no longer with us. Pictured below are most of the veterans who traveled to Eglin. John Vick
