E.J. “JAY” SMITH

Mr. E. J. “Jay” Smith, 65, of Wing, passed away Friday morning Aug. 30, 2019, at his mother’s home in Wing.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tue., Sept. 3, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Halston Brooks officiating the service. The interment will follow in Wing Cemetery.  Visitation was from 5 p.m., until 8 p.m., Monday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Betty McCraney Smith of Wing and Evergreen; his mother, Burnette Bryan Smith of Wing; along with several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

He is preceded in death by his father, J.A. Smith; his son Jamie Arron Smith, both of Wing; his mother-in-law, Myrtle Ross McCraney of Evergreen.

Pallbearers will be Chris Mitchell, Josh McCraney, Scotty McCraney, Peyton McCraney, Paul Smith, and Donnie Bryan

Honorary Pallbearer will be Blondale McCraney and Renee Chambers.

MOLLY JEANETTE ROBERTSON

Mrs. Molly Jeanette Robertson, age 70, of Andalusia, passed away Thu., Aug. 29, 2019, at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Molly Jeanette Robertson will be 10 a.m., Wed., Sept. 4, 2019, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Terry Stewart officiating. Interment will follow services at Rawls Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Visitation was held on Tue., Sept. 3, 2019, from 5:30 p.m., to 8 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robertson is survived by her daughter Cora Robertson (Damon) Bush of Andalusia, two sons: Chantz (Shauna) Robertson of Andalusia and Chad (Courtney) Robertson of Niagara Falls, New York. Four brothers: Brad (Pat) Swanson of Niagara Falls, New York, Hubert (Lil) Swanson of Niagara Falls, New York, James (Valerie) Swanson of Niagara Falls, New York, and Gene (Joane) Swanson of Niagara Falls, New York. Mrs. Molly Jeanette Robertson is also survived by eight grandchildren, Chandler Robertson, Zane Robertson, Emiley Faith Bush, Cash Robertson, Callen Robertson, Gavin Bush, Jonathan Smith, Taylor Smith

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Stella Lunsford Swanson and one sister Marsha Moore.

Pallbearers will be Harold Barrow, Shelton Biggs, Jim Brown, Tim Bybee, Jim Syler, and Brandon Moore.
