Madison Amber Weeks of Opp was arrested on Saturday for possession of a controlled substance after getting pulled over for not having taillights.

On Sept. 14, 2019, around 2:39 a.m., a D-Shift Opp police officer conducted a traffic stop on a white in color Mazda for not having any taillights on West Cummings Avenue.

While speaking with the operator of the vehicle, the officer could detect the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle.

Subsequent investigation resulted in the find of ecstasy and a small bag of cocaine. Weeks was placed under arrest and charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was booked with a $13,000 bond.
