With Valentine’s Day only two weeks away, Meredith’s Miracles will be opening its Valentine’s Day Store on Thu., Feb. 4.

The candy sundaes will be sold in Meredith’s Miracle’s new location at 1408 South 3 Notch.

The Valentine’s Day Store will stay open until the afternoon of Fri., Feb. 14.

Along with the classics such as Reese’s Cup and Tootsie Roll sundaes for $20 each and the peppermint for $15, the Shop will have the special flavors of Lindor chocolate and white chocolate both for $30.

Kiley Spears, Meredith’s Miracles fundraiser coordinator, warns buyers that the new flavors of the year, Caramel Delight and cherry saltwater taffy, are in limited supply.

Meredith’s Miracles expects a good turn out this year.

“We’ve already made almost 250 sundaes,” said Emily Brooks Yehling, a volunteer at Meredith’s Miracles. “I think they’ll sell out fast.”

There are also specially made cookies with different patterns and images on them available to purchase along with stuffed animals, balloons, and “Build-a-Baskets.”

“These [baskets] can easily be used as teacher’s gifts,” said Spears. “Choosing the treats to go in really personalizes it.”

Once purchased, you have the option of having the team at Meredith’s Miracles gift wrap your purchases. Orders over $20 from businesses in Andalusia can be delivered, even on Valentine’s Day.

The Valentine’s Day Store follows normal store hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Orders can be placed in person at the new location or over the phone at 334-222-2866, extension #2.
