In an effort to introduce its products to customers, Carroll Meat Company is hosting a Food Truck Event on the square this Friday.
“We really want our customer base to get a taste of what we are going to be serving,” Owner Marshall Carroll said. “We are going to have several samples of what we are going to be serving, but it isn’t everything that we are going to have.”
The menu on the food truck will consist of a hamburger plate for $10, cheeseburger plate for $10, sausage dog for $6, sausage dog plate for $10, barbecue sandwich for $10, barbecue plate for $12, rib plate for $12 and fries for $3.
Along with the burgers and sandwiches, customers can also pre-order ribs for $20, Boston butts for $25 and pulled pork barbecue by the pound for $13.
At the moment, Carroll does not have a set opening date for the downtown butcher shop.
“We have had some unforeseen setbacks with the renovation process,” Carroll said. “With that being said, we are very close to having those problems resolved. So, hopefully we will be open in the next month.”
Carroll said he hopes to have a food truck event every other Friday even when they open.
“This event is exciting because it gives people a chance to try our food before we open,” Carroll said. “I’m just excited to get our food out to our potential customers in the area.”
Food Truck Friday will be on the Court Square in Andalusia from 10 a.m., until 2 p.m.
For pre-orders, call 334-449-8034 by Thursday at noon.
