Andalusia woman arrested, other arrests pending after DTF search warrant

An Andalusia woman is in the Covington County Jail and additional arrests are pending after the Covington County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Eighth Avenue in Andalusia.
Andalusia Police Chief Paul Hudson said the search warrant was obtained after an extensive investigation of narcotics sales.
The Covington County Incident Response Team assisted with the search warrant when it was conducted at 428 Eighth Ave. During the search, officers located two stolen firearms and approximately a pound of marijuana.
Cynthia Hamilton Hill, 51, was charged with possession of marijuana first, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving property. She is being held on a $16,000 bond.
The DTF said that additional arrests are pending.
