George ‘Bubba’ Fields

Mr. George “Bubba” Fields of Red Level passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 1 p.m.,  at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Tiny Hornsby will officiate, with Halle Richburg as a guest speaker. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Internment will follow in the Babbie Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Jimmy Green, Jonathon Richburg, Martin Edwards, Robert Rogers, Tim Rogers, and Josh Parrish. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

Survivors include his loving wife, Veronica Fields; sons, Michael (Kelsey) Fields, and Charles Fields; mother, Christine Stewart; daughters, Krystal (Jimmy) Green, Starla (Martin) Edwards, Daisy Fields, Hannah (Josh) Parrish, and Halle (Jonathon) Richburg; brother, Jody (Alanah) Fields; grandchildren, Hallie Stewart, Kaleigh Harris, Brayden Parrish, Harley Harris, Jolene Green, Ana Harris, Matt Richburg, Luke Parrish, Noah Richburg, Justice Fields, Chaysen Middleton, Logan Fields, Jonathon “Cute Baby” Brown, and Ryleigh Fields.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Fields; sister, Janie Welden; grandson, Kayden Wallace; and 12 grand angel babies.

Bubba lived an exciting life, he worked as a mechanic for the most part. He enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles, he had a passion for fishing, and could even sit around with friends and family playing his guitar and singing. He and Mrs. Veronica would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this coming Tuesday, June 22.
