Andalusia City Schools made more personnel decisions at its latest board meeting on Monday.
During the meeting the board approved:
Rescind:
- Nancy Wilson leave of absence from Andalusia Elementary School effective immediately
- Megan Watts special education paraprofessional position at AES effective immediately
Resignation:
- Becky Garner as English teacher at Andalusia Junior High School effective May 27
Retirement:
- Gilan Jones as Special Education paraprofessional at Andalusia High School effective October 1
Transfer:
- Kim Thompson from Transporation Department/Data Manager/Secretary at central office to 5th Grade English Language Arts teacher at AES effective August 5
- Casey Athearn from Interventionist Paraprofessional (ESSER Fund 3 Year Temporary) to 6th Grade Reading teacher at AES effective August 5
- Nancy Wilson from 5th Grade English Language Arts teacher at AES to 7th Grade English teacher at AJHS effective August 5
- Ray Bozeman from Physical Education teacher at AJHS to Career Prep teacher at AHS effective August 5
Employment:
- Janet Bass as Secretary at AES effective July 27
- Sharon Martin as Cafeteria Worker at AES effective August 5
- Pamela Peterson as 5th Grade teacher at AES effective August 5
- Taylor Carter as Pre-K Nurse paraprofessional at central office effective August 5
- Michael Fox as Physical Education teacher at AJHS effective August 5
