Mr. John Henry Jerkins, age 77, of Boutwell Street in Andalusia, died Thursday, August 19, 2021, in an Andalusia hospital. Memorial services will be held by the family. Mr. Jerkins was a long-time truck driver and a member of the Holiness church.

Mr. Jerkins was preceded in death by his parents: Henry Edward and Jessie Lee Rabon Jerkins. Mr. Jerkins is survived by his three children: Gwen Powell of Tyler, Texas; Christopher Jerkins of Walnut Hill, Florida; and Norma Jerkins of Castleberry, Alabama; three sisters: Mary Terrell of Tyler, Texas; Etta Wilson of Charleston, South Carolina; Melissa Ballard of Brewton; one brother: Edward Jerkins of Odessa, Texas.
