Mr. John Wesley “Snakey John” Williamson passed away Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 in the Evergreen Hospital. He was 59.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at Keahey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 at Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Rex Tolbert will officiate. Burial will follow in South Church of God Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Floyd, David Floyd, Ben Kervin, Joe Griggs, Terry Josey, and Daniel Spikes. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Griffin and Kenny Howell.
Left to cherish his memory, son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Brenda Williamson of Red Level; brother, Morris Terry Williamson of Red Level; grandchildren, John Thomas Williamson and Silas Hunter Williamson; and a large extended family of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Williamson.
He enjoyed visiting different churches in the community; he was also an avid fisherman and hunter. He will be greatly missed.
