Mr. Royce Chad Morris, 41, of Red Level, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021.
Chad was an incredible father, brother, son, and friend to all who knew him, and had worked as a lineman for Southern Pine Electric Cooperative for 16 years. Chad had a very big heart and he often spent his time serving others and going out of his way to help those who needed it most. He was a vocal advocate for foster care and adoption, and the way he loved his daughters perfectly captures how he not only talked the talk but walked the walk in those efforts. Chad was not only a great father but a wonderful mentor to many young people in his community. He served as a volunteer coach and team parent for multiple youth sports teams. The impact he had on the lives of those around him is immeasurable and his loss will be deeply felt in his community for many years to come.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, at Carolina Baptist Church with Ministers Joey Jackson, Garrett Davis, and Fred Kelley officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at Carolina Baptist Church. The interment will follow in Carolina Cemetery.
