Mr. Delmar “Del” Lee Brown Jr. of Andalusia passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at his residence. He was 67.

Left to cherish his memories: sister, Debbie Brown Davis of Opp; his beloved fur babies, TarBaby, Meagan, Mommy Cat, and Riley.
He was born in Washington, D.C. and lived most of his childhood in Pembroke Pines, Florida. As a child, Del spent many hours assembling model cars. By age 16, he was a skilled plumber and most of his career entailed being a plumber and a salesman for the Swap On Tool Company. Due to health problems and nearing retirement age, he relocated to Andalusia to be near family. A tremendous Dale Earnhardt fan, he witnessed that final lap collision at the Daytona 500. While residing in Andalusia, he was a frequent attendee of the South Alabama Speedway. He was a past Mason and an extensive antique toy collector, with an emphasis on Matchbox toys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar Lee Brown and Thelma Jeanette Lewis Brown.
He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
