The Covington County Board of Education met for a regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday and addressed two personnel matters.

The board approved:

Resignation:

• Joseph Allen Watson as bus driver at Pleasant Home School retroactive to Dec. 31, 2021

Employment:

• Macy Colleen Coker as agriscience teacher at Red Level School with effective date to be determined, pending verification of new or existing background reviews

In other business, the board discussed distribution of financial reports that have been reconciled to most current bank statements.

The board set the next meeting for Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room at the central office.
