Straughn students celebrate outstanding attendance

Straughn High School celebrated students who “showed up” for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year on Wednesday, Jan. 12.
Students with exceptional attendance were treated to pizza and Bingo. They also had a raffle for the chance to win some cash.
Students who showed up every minute of every school day were recognized for having “Perfect Attendance” for the first semester. Those who did not miss a single day are Reagan Bartholomew, Drew Ferguson, John Luke Gay, Peyton Gunter, Christian Kime, Skiler Maggard, and Arina Thai.
Students who showed up at least half of every school day were recognized for having “Excellent Attendance” for the first semester. Those who attended half of every school day are Grant Barnes, Carlin Bates, Presley Bates, Jackson Bishop, Andrew Correro, Anna Driver, Gracie Findley, Timothy Hall, Melonie Harris, Jamey Meadows, Molly Mooney, Ryan Moore, Timothy Odom, Connor Palmer, Tyler Robertson, Preston Sherwood, Ashton Teel, Alex Thi, Sidney Van Skiver, Layne Vidich, Tucker Ward, T.J. Watson, and Haiden Ziglar.
