Mr. Douglas Wayne Palmer, 78, of Andalusia, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services for Mr. Palmer will be Friday, Feb. 11, 3 p.m, at Adellum Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Billy Boles officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Mary King Palmer; his sons and daughter-in-law, Walter Palmer of Andalusia, Daniel Palmer (Amy) of Andalusia; his daughter and son-in-law, Suzan Stokes (Lamar) of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Alexander Stokes, Jessica Stokes, Faith Rhudy, Hope Stokes, Charity Stokes, Sarah Grace Palmer, Conner Palmer, and Karter Palmer; thirteen great-grandchildren; his mother, Gloria Palmer; his brothers and sister-in-law, Walter “Rip” Palmer, Roger Palmer (Margie).

He is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Henderson.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Palmer, Lamar Stokes, Ruben Doxey, Matthew Smith, Shannon Nall, and Charles Nall.
