LBWCC to hold sealed bid sale on surplus equipment

Lurleen B. Wallace Community College will hold a sealed bid sale of used and surplus equipment.
Items for sale may be inspected on the Andalusia Campus in the Maintenance Center and at the MacArthur Campus in the former Upholstery Department.
Items may be inspected on Thursday, April 14, and Monday, April 18, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Bid forms will be available at inspection sites.
Sealed bids must be submitted to the Andalusia Campus Business Office or the MacArthur Campus Business Office by Monday, April 18, no later than 4 p.m.
Items to be sold include fitness equipment, electronic items, computers, computer equipment, miscellaneous supplies, chairs, desks, bookshelves, cabinets, miscellaneous maintenance items, culinary supplies, cosmetology/esthetics/nails tech equipment, and automotive and welding equipment.
All bids must be submitted in ink and must be legible. Pencils will not be accepted. Bidders must use an LBWCC bid form and write their name on the outside of the provided envelope. High bidders will be notified by phone after the bid opening process is completed.
Successful bidders are responsible for all loading of items purchased. They must pay for and pick up the said item(s) Monday, April 25, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. All items not picked up in 48 hours after notification become college property. Payment must be made in cash with the exact amount due, cashier’s check, or certified check. No personal checks will be accepted.
