‘Southern Souls’ visits Brooks Shoe Shop

Lynn Oldshue maintains a popular YouTube blog called “Our Southern Souls” and a website of the same name.
Oldshue travels all over the United States and finds individuals to share their stories with others.
She made a stop in Andalusia at Brooks Shoe Shop on Thursday, May 19, and interviewed owner Hillry Trawick and his two daughters.
Some of the topics discussed include how Mr. Trawick began working at Brooks Shoe Shop as a young boy, how he took over the business almost 50 years ago, and why the name went unchanged.
