Masonic Lodge 605 of Opp has awarded its annual $1,000 scholarship to Jasmine Walker.
The scholarship will be used to further Walker’s education with the goal of one day becoming a dermatologist.
Walker is a graduate of Opp High School and will be attending classes at Lurleen B. Wallace’s MacArthur campus in Opp this fall.
Missy Mims, Opp High School’s guidance counselor, recommended Walker for the scholarship based on her outstanding achievement and potential.
