Ms. Juanita Sasser Deloach, of Andalusia, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, at her daughter’s residence in Foley. She was 92.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 11, 10 a.m., at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in Atlanta Saturday, August 13, 11 a.m., at Patterson Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in North Atlanta Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

Left to cherish her memory, daughters, Rose Lovelace (Joey Russell) of Andalusia; Nena Donita Santmyer (Richard) of Foley, Alabama; brother, Doug Sasser of Andalusia; grandchildren, Shannon Brister (Angie), Chris Santmyer (Gulnara), Nicole Santmyer; great-grandchild, Cody Brister; sisters-in-law, Joan Sasser and Betty King.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Parker Deloach, and sons, Danny Deloach and Marty Deloach; brothers, Luke Jackson, and J.C. Sasser; sisters, Olene Taylor (Frank), Edna Walker, and Alice Day (James).
Born in the Sanford community to Jack Sasser and Emma Orice Polk Sasser, she resided there until marrying the love of her life and moving to Atlanta, Georgia, where they made their home, raising four children. When she worked outside the home, she was a certified nursing assistant. She loved life in Atlanta but moved back to Andalusia five years ago and recently moved to her daughter’s home in Foley.
