Mrs. Doris Annette Adams Johns, 90, of Andalusia, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2022.
Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 19, 2:30 p.m., from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Hunt and Rev. Rick Thorne officiating the service. The interment followed in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation began Sunday, Sept. 18, at 4:30 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Russell D. Johns, Sr. of Andalusia; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Kim Johns of Opp; four daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen “Susie” and Ricky Sightler of Andalusia, Sarah and Rick Thorne of Salem, Alabama, Patsy and Bruce Stinson of Andalusia, and Nancy and Sean O’Rourke of Andalusia; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Lois and Bud Friday of Mobile.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Winford F. Adams and Sarah Mariah “Sadie” (Caraway) Adams; son, Russell Johns, Jr.; two brothers, John Samuel Adams and Elbert Caraway; and her sisters, Helen Small, Jeanette Turner, and Gladys Jones.

Pallbearers were Brodie Maddox, Tyler Tucker, Brent Tucker, J.C. Cross, Breckin Cross, Jake Johns, Curtis Mitchell, Sean O’Rourke, and Emilie Long.
