Pleasant Home takes down Brantley for area title

Pleasant Home clinched the 1A Area 2 Volleyball Tournament championship with a 3-1 win at Brantley on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
The Lady Eagles (15-11) swept county rival Red Level 3-0 in the semi-finals and then beat the host Lady Bulldogs 25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 25-18 in the title match.
Pleasant Home will begin South Super Regional play in Montgomery Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 12:45 p.m. against Southern Choctaw.
