Lisbeth “Bibba” Haas Jones, 92, of Andalusia was united with the love of her life, Arthur M. Jones, on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2022.

Bibba was born on Nov. 23, 1929, in Mobile to William Melvin and Mary Roach Haas.

Bibba had a zest for life. She loved the beach, sailing, playing bridge with the girls, and cooking new recipes, but most of all, Bibba loved golf. Most days, you could find her on the golf course. She made some of her best friendships on the course and never missed an opportunity to hit the links.

She was an active member of Saint Michael’s Anglican Church of Andalusia.

Bibba is survived by her children: Robert (Sally), James (Mary) and Lisbeth (Lewis); stepchildren, Nancy, Susan, Deborah, and Arthur; grandchildren, Stephen (Michelle), Sarah (Will), Elizabeth, Haas (Nedra), Anne, Gregory, and Lindsay (Alex); great-grandchildren: Ashley, Boaz, Enoch, Abigail, Haas, Aidan, and Ashton. Also left to grieve is her beloved cat, “Punky-poo.”

Please join us in celebrating Bibba’s life Monday, Nov. 14, at St. Michael’s Anglican Church. Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m., services at 11 a.m., with a reception following at the church. Interment will be at Gulf Cemetery, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida at 2:30 p.m.

Bibba lived an extraordinary life and will be greatly missed.
