Mr. Willie Huston Sasser, 87, of Opp, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 29, 10 a.m., from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Mickey Smith officiating the service. The interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sasser; one son and daughter-in-law, Willie H. and Gaylynn Sasser, II of Whitney, Texas; his daughter, Wanda Sasser Scroggins of Florala; two stepchildren, Debbie Mullen and David Whitehurst; his grandchildren, Matthew (Lynn) Scroggins, Michael Scroggins, Justin Scroggins, Daniel Sasser, and Lindsay Sasser; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Shirley Taylor of Opp; and sister-in-law, Nancy of Prattville, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kim and Zelmar Sasser, two brothers, Donnie Sasser and Hubert, and sister-in-law Inez Sasser.
