Jack Daniel “Jacky” Clark of Montgomery passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at his residence. He was 68.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 15, 2 p.m., at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Wayne Locklar officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until time of service.
He was born March 31, 1954, to the late John Ollie Clark and Annie Faye Rust Clark. Jack D. Clark served his county from the time he was 18 with the U.S. Navy and the Navy Reserves. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Troy University and Auburn University. He was a music lover and talented songwriter and self-taught on many instruments. He was a poet by heart and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his sisters, Johnnie Whitehead (Doug) and Joanna Knight (Paul); brother, Mike Clark (Darlene); nieces, Shelby Tallent, Victoria Whitehead, Candy Brooks (Mike), Samantha Chester (Brent); nephew, Jeffrey Knight (Erikka); great nieces, Rion Lynn, and Juliane Knight; great-nephews, Easton Knight, Jese Brooks, and Everitt Chester; uncle, Jack Rust; numerous friends and acquaintances.
