Mrs. Peggy Jo Barnett Henderson, age 87, of the Cedar Grove Community passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her home.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her daughter, Tammy Henderson Mount and husband, Daryl; grandchildren, Jessica Foley McDaniel and husband, Ty, and Magen Foley Alexander and husband, Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Elliot and Wilder McDaniel and Collins Alexander; brother-in-law, Jake Henderson and wife, Peggy; sister-in-law, Martha Messick; nieces and nephews, Debbie Williamson, Gary Barnett, Terry Barnett, Keith Barnett, Darrell Barnett, Alesia Sasser, Renee Barnett, Greg Henderson, Tim Messick, Ricky Messick and Patricia Edge; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Dallas G. Henderson; parents, Icy Agnes Sasser Barnett and Charlie Leon Barnett; brother, Ralph Barnett and wife, Mary; sister, Ouida Paulk and husband, Bud; and brother-in-law Rudolph Messick.

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Jo Barnett Henderson were held Tuesday, March 14, 11 a.m., from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation was held at Wyatt Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Phillip Morgan officiated with special music by Larry Sasser. Serving as pallbearers were Gary Barnett, Virgil Sasser, Greg Henderson, Ricky Messick, Ricky Foley and Leon Wages.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Juanita Jacobs, Olivia Knight, Rhonda Stanley, Brenda Clark, and DaySpring Hospice for the wonderful care they have provided.

The family received friends at the Henderson home.
