Full Tummy Project prepares for ninth annual golf tournament

The Full Tummy Project of Covington County is gearing up for the 9th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Wednesday, May 17, at the Robert Trent Jones course at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville.
This year’s tournament will begin with a lunch at noon before getting underway at 1 p.m. Team entries with four golfers on each team are $600. Those who choose to sponsor a hole for $100 will have one sign at one tee box.
“We are trying a new course this year and are excited to host the tournament at this gorgeous course in Greenville. We hope you will support this fun fundraiser as you have in the past. We are now accepting team registrations as well as securing sponsorships,” Full Tummy Director Katie King said.
The Backpack sponsor is $3,000 and includes two teams of four, two large logo flags placed on the course, and a hole sponsorship of one sign at one tee box.
The Lunchbox sponsor is $1,500 and includes one team of four, one large logo flag placed on the course, and a hole sponsorship of one sign at one tee box.
All checks should be payable to The Full Tummy Project of Covington County.
The Full Tummy Project is a 501(c)3 organization designed to provide a small bag of food on Fridays for children in local schools at risk for hunger on the weekends. Children’s identities are kept confidential with nutritious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack items discreetly placed in backpacks each Friday.
