Property tax valuations available at Revenue office

The Covington County Revenue Commissioner has announced that appraised values of all property listed for taxation have been fixed according to state law.

Appraised valuations are available at the Covington County Revenue Commissioner’s office and are open for public inspection.

The Board of Equalization will hold an annual meeting at the Covington County Administration Building on a date to be announced by the Revenue Department in order to address any written protests filed with this office, within 30 days of the date notices are made available. The last day to file objections will be July 7, 2023.

Anyone wishing to schedule an appointment may file a written protest giving your name, address, daytime phone number, parcel identification number and an explanation of why you think the value of your property is incorrect. After your appeal is received, you will be contacted by a county appraiser.
