Three people were flown to regional hospitals after a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in the Sanford community.

Officials with the Covington County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and firefighters from Andalusia and Sanford responded at approximately 5 a.m. to Snuffy Road in Sanford where the crash occurred.

Three people were in the vehicle and two of those were flown to Sacred Heart Trauma Center in Pensacola while the third was flown to Baptist South in Montgomery.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing and no other details are available.
