Louise Reeves Rabren, age 95, of Libertyville passed away August 22, 2023, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Rev. Josh Wilson will officiate the services. The Deacons of Southside Baptist Church and former co-workers will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband, George Finley of Libertyville; daughters, Linda Ann Rabren of Libertyville and Brenda Allen (Tim) of Clark Fork, Idaho; granddaughter, Katherine Jungkuntz (Ted); and two great-grandchildren, Josiah Jungkuntz and Faith Jungkuntz of Plymouth, Michigan.

Louise was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifton Rabren, and beloved son, Tony Clifton Rabren, and her parents, Archie and Annie Mae Reeves.

Louise was born in 1927. A lifelong resident of Covington County, she made her home in Libertyville in 1947 and was an active member of her community for 75 years. She was a 1945 graduate of Pleasant Home School and started her accounting profession at the office of Harold and Harvey Lee Rabren in 1947. She opened her own accounting office in Libertyville in 1975 and after a long, independent career there, she joined the firm of White and McClung in 2011, working there until she retired at the age of 91, after 73 years in the accounting profession. She was an active member of Southside Baptist Church. She found Christ as a young person and her faith was very important to her. She had many church callings including church treasurer, choir member, and Sunday School teacher. Over the years, she made many friends and acquaintances of which she was very fond. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
