Mr. Foy Lee Gunter, 70, of Dozier, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at his residence.

Funeral services were Tuesday, August 29, 10 a.m., from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Glass, Bo Brogden, and Robert Rolling speaking. The interment followed in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation began Monday, August 28, 5:30 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gunter; three sons, Russell (Michelle) Gunter of Shalimar, Florida, Joey (Ashley) Gunter of Andalusia; and Shaun Foy of Georgiana, Alabama; four daughters, Leigh Gunter of Orange Beach, Florida, Laken Gunter of Andalusia, Brandi Waites of Elmore County, Alabama, and Sierra (Patrick) Davis of Greenville, Alabama; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Sara Odom Gunter; sister, Ann Owens; and brother, Grover Gunter.

Pallbearers were Chad Cottle, Josh Gunter, Glen Gunter, Troy Owens, Larry Brogden, and Robbie Brogden.

Honorary pallbearer was Brayden Gunter.
