The 31st Annual Sav-A-Life Banquet will be held Monday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Kiwanis Community Center in Andalusia.
Tickets cost $25.00 and are available in the Andalusia area at Christian Book & Gift and Sav-A-Life’s Family Hope Center, in Opp at Larry’s Prescriptions, and in Florala at First Baptist Church.
Dr. William Lile will serve as the guest speaker at this year’s banquet. Dr. Lile is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a former OB-GYN department chair at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
“He has always had a passion for educating the church about the personhood of the unborn. He has delivered over 4.000 babies during his medical career,” a Sav-A-Life release said.
Dr. Lile is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Alabama and is a medical advisor of the Florida Human Life Amendment. He serves as a member of the Focus on the Family’s Physician Research Council. He is a frequent guest on both television and radio shows such as Focus on the Family.
Sav-A-Life is a non-profit Christian ministry helping women in crisis pregnancies and teaching life choices to youth. The organization offers free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, maternity and baby clothing and diapers, as well as parenting classes.
