The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Dermatology Specialists of Alabama’s Andalusia location, in conjunction with the facility’s open house, on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Among those in attendance were Dr. Jeffrey Stricker, cutting the ribbon; Certified Physician Assistant Amanda Day; Dermatology Specialists Office Administrator Summer Adkins; Dermatology Specialists teams; AACC Executive Director Mellisa King, right of ribbon; AACC Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes, left of ribbon; various Chamber board members; and City of Andalusia Dist. 4 Councilman Presley Boswell.

Andalusia is one of four locations for Dermatology Specialists of Alabama along with Dothan, Enterprise, and Troy. Services include skin cancer screening and diagnosis, skin cancer excision, biopsies and cryosurgery, chronic skin disorders, wart, rash, acne, and eczema therapy, Mohs surgery, mole evaluation, testing and treatment for skin allergies, and advanced treatment options for other conditions of the skin, hair, and nails.

Dermatology Specialists of Alabama is staffed and operated by Southeastern Dermatology Group, PA, and Dermatology Solutions Group, LLC, which holds more than 20  medical practices in the southeastern United States. They are located at 822B South Three Notch Street in Andalusia. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.
