The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community and all veterans to join them in this year’s Veterans Day parade.

All veterans and their family members are invited to ride in the parade upon floats prepared by the chamber. The parade will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, beginning at 10 a.m. from the First Baptist Church. Lineup will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. The parade will travel from FBC to city hall where a special ceremony will be held at Veterans Park.

There is no charge for participating in the parade and walkers, bikers, golf carts, trailers and floats are all welcome.

“Let’s join together as a community this Veterans Day to show our gratitude and honor those who served and sacrificed for our nation. We welcome all to join us in this wonderful tribute to our veterans,” said Maggie Holmes, the chamber’s director of membership services.
