Betty Griggs of Andalusia passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at her residence. She was 88.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m. Kymberly Keahey will share the eulogy.

During her working years, she was a nurse’s aide at Andalusia Hospital, and prior to her declining health had been a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Dean and Etta Sasser Dean, her beloved husband, James Robert Griggs, a daughter, Melissia Gayle Cook, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory include her son, Otis Griggs (Martha) of Georgia; Linda Oliver (Robert) of California; Deborah Holley (Bruce) of Andalusia; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
