Mr. Grady E. Owens, 85, of the Carolina community, passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, in Pensacola, Florida.

Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 20, 2 p.m., at Carolina Baptist Church with Brother Jack Armstrong and Brother Garrett Davis officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. The interment followed in Carolina Cemetery. Visitation began at 12:30 Monday at Carolina Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jo Ann Rogers Owens; one son and daughter-in-law, Grady J. “Jerry” and Tammy Owens of Dillon, South Carolina; his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ron Yates of the Carolina community; four grandchildren, Hillary K. Owens, Evan (Hope) Yates, Abi Yates (Ethan Gobea), and Sarah Owens; three great-grandchildren, Mattie Anne Yates, Lennon Kate Yates, and Adam Gobea; and extended family members, Larry Hobbs and family.

Pallbearers were Hal McGee, Anthony Hill, Brian Cox, James Griggs, Luke Martin, and Mike Carter.
