Mrs. Virginia Ann Cook McGowin, age 80 of Andalusia, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, at Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 1, 11 a.m., at Foreman Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Virginia Ann Cook McGowin is survived by her husband of 64 years, Francis A. McGowin of Andalusia; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Barbie McGowin of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Dan and Leslie McGowin of Red Level; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Cindy Cook of Andalusia; sister, Joan Waterson of The Villages of Florida; grandchildren, Lee McGowin, Samantha Ann McGowin, and John Stephen McGowin; great-grandchild, Kaylee McGowin.

Mrs. Virginia Ann Cook McGowin was preceded in death by sons, Steven Francis McGowin and John McGowin; and a daughter, Katrina Ann McGowin.
