The Andalusia Police Department is investigating an altercation between roommates that occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28, on Second Avenue.

The alleged victim, who called 911, reported he had been shot. He was subsequently airlifted for treatment.

Capt. Brett Holmes of the APD said the investigation into the altercation is ongoing, but that investigators have not yet been able to determine if anyone was actually hit by the one bullet that was fired. The projectile was recovered at the scene.

No charges have been filed.
