ReACT Theatre will hold ‘Love, Loss, and What I Wore’ production

Do you have the after Christmas blues? Do you need a night out without the kids? Then ReACT Theatre’s production of “Love, Loss, and What I Wore” is just the ticket.

Written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron and based on the book by Ilene Beckerman, this show will have you reminiscing, laughing, and possibly getting a little misty eyed.

“Love, Loss, and What I Wore” is a unique dialogue driven play with five women recalling the clothes and accessories they wore during different phases of their lives. Thought provoking and topical, this show is sure to appeal to women…and to the men who love them.

Intended for mature audiences only, tickets are $30 each and include a pre-show social beginning at 6:30 p.m. with show time at 7 p.m. Performances are set for Jan. 26, and Jan. 27, at Mark’s Place, 27481 Nalls Road, Andalusia, and on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3, at the Opp Cultural Arts Center, 107 South Main Street, Opp.

There are two casts that will perform different nights at each location. Cast A will perform Jan. 26 (Andalusia) and Feb. 3 (Opp). Cast B will perform Jan. 27 (Andalusia) and Feb. 2 (Opp).

Actors in Cast A are: Terri Proctor, Shanna Davis, Jeanni Sanders, Loretta Black, and Pat Carlton. Actors in Cast B are: Melissa Flowers, Danielle Baker, Julie Knox, Barbara Peek and Betsy Walker. Mary Vines will serve as the narrator of the production.
