Mr. Wendell R. Moore, age 79, of Kinston, Alabama, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, in a Ft. Walton, Florida hospital.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Ann Childs Moore; daughter and son-in-law, Julie Moore Wilson and Chad; granddaughter, Madie Wilson; brothers, Jimmy Moore and Wilma, Billy Wayne Moore and Kathy, Mike Moore, Mickey Moore and Felicia, Ricky Moore and Amelia, and Terry Moore; sister-in-law, Carolyn Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Madeline Harrison Moore; father, Isaac Moore and his wife, Oberia; and brother, Rexal Moore.

Funeral services for Mr. Wendell R. Moore will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, 11 a.m., from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Pastor Brian Smith will be officiating accompanied by eulogist Beverly Colquett Taylor. Special music will be provided by Cameron Crapps, Allen Burgess, and Connie Kelley. Serving as pallbearers will be Tad Moore, Shawn Moore, Dennis Wayne Moore, Jimmy Foster, Kyle Rhodes, and Pat Taylor with The Dependables Sunday School Class serving as honorary pallbearers.
