Mr. James Edward “Jimmy” Ballard, 71, of Andalusia, departed from this earthly life on Sunday, May 14, 2024, at his home.

Memorial services for Mr. Ballard will be held at a later date.

Mr. Ballard is survived by his wife, Valerie Ballard; four daughters, Carrie Nicloe Cole, Jamie Lynn Touchet (Chance) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Lydia Patricia Engelan of Susanville, California, and Karma Ann Laree Carpenter (Jeremy) of Opp; one son, John Joseph Fredrick (Melissa) of Susanville; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Allen Wayne Ballard (Debbie) of Florala and Henry Harrison Hayes, Jr. (Gail).
