Andalusia Head Start students took a walk to Andalusia Health on Wednesday, May 15, and met local community helpers.
During the visit, they learned about different departments at the hospital and toured the lab, birthing center, X-ray, second floor, pharmacy, and more. The students also met with firefighters and paramedics while exploring a fire truck and an ambulance outside.
Head Start has 21 graduates from the Class of 2024. The Head Start staff would like to thank all the parents of the graduates for their participation this year. All graduates will be recognized in a ceremony at the Andalusia City Hall Auditorium on Friday, May 24, at 9:30 a.m.
A parent orientation is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 28, from 8 to 11 a.m. for children who will be attending Head Start next school year.
